My time as a graphic designer for Road Code was centered on shaping the visual identity of a forward-thinking platform designed to revolutionize fan engagement with professional cycling. The company's unique mission and technological foundation provided a compelling brief for a designer. Key Background Points: A "Fan Universe" for Cycling: Road Code was conceived as an all-in-one digital ecosystem or "fan universe" for professional road cycling. The goal was to overcome the complexity and fragmented information of the sport by bringing real-time race data, exclusive content, and interactive games into a single, unified experience. Partnership with Pro Teams (Velon): The platform was developed in partnership with Velon, a company collectively owned by the world's leading professional cycling teams (including teams like INEOS Grenadiers, Soudal Quick-Step, and UAE Team Emirates). This partnership ensured a unique level of access to official data and riders. Web3 and Technology Focus: Road Code was built using Web3 technology (specifically on the Hedera public network). This was intended to give fans a degree of digital ownership over in-game assets and to create a community that felt more connected to the sport's future. Fantasy Cycling at the Core: A central component of the platform was the Road Code Fantasy Game. My design work was critical in making this game visually engaging and easy to use, translating real-life rider performance and team strategy into an accessible and fun gaming experience. Designing Data Visualization: A significant part of the design challenge was to visualize Velon's proprietary live data from the riders (like speed and power) and integrate a unique rider ranking system into the user interface—making complex metrics understandable to the average fan.

Challenge
The main challenge was to stand out amidst a highly competitive and crowded event, capturing the attention of diverse cyclists while effectively communicating Road Code’s unique identity and values.
Objective
To design a cohesive and impactful visual experience that highlights Road Code’s innovative products and community spirit, driving brand awareness and engagement during the event.
Results
The project delivered a vibrant, cohesive booth design and branded materials that attracted a steady flow of visitors. Road Code successfully strengthened its brand presence, generating increased interest and positive feedback from the cycling community at Sea Otter.
